Introduction
Stephen is an HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist holding a degree in Physiotherapy, and masters degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Stephen is the lead physiotherapist at Bangor Football Club, where he is in charge of player assessment, injury management and return to play protocols. He has undergone post graduate training in areas such as ART® (active release techniques) – an advanced from of myofascial release.
He is certified in pitch-side trauma management and emergency care; he also holds advanced first aid training. Stephen has extensive experience providing pitch-side medical support in the NIFL premiership working alongside medical doctors and paramedics. In his spare time Stephen enjoys training in the gym and spending time with his son Jude.

Memberships and experience
Stephen is a member of the HCPC and the CSP, which is the governing body of physiotherapy in the UK. Stephens experience has covered areas from elite sport, across to elderly care as well as everyday office workers and manual labourers. Stephen also has experience in providing cardiac rehabilitation and the management of BPPV.
His evidence-based approach combines hands-on treatment, progressive rehabilitation, and personalised exercise programmes, with a strong focus on education and long-term self-management. Stephen is committed to delivering high-quality, one-to-one care, supporting patients from initial injury through to confident return to sport, work, and everyday life. Stephen has a caring, empathetic and motivational style of care, which enables him to create a friendly and calm treatment environment.
